Acetanium
At first sight, LINDBERG’s new product line – LINDBERG Acetanium –
may look like ordinary acetate eyewear. It isn’t, of course. LINDBERG is known for its unconventional thinking – and has done it again with LINDBERG Acetanium.
LINDBERG has so far been almost synonymous
with titanium eyewear, and some may wonder why LINDBERG is now introducing acetate
frames. Others may ask why they have not done so long ago ....
As the name suggests, LINDBERG Acetanium
is a combination of acetate and titanium. The front of the frame and the temples
are made from acetate, while titanium has been used for reinforcement – of the temples, bridge and lugs. This has allowed for a minimalist design, resulting in a light and elegant frame. Furthermore, the reinforcement of the bridge forms the basis for the flexible and adjustable
nose-pad arms which are also known from LINDBERG’s other frame collections.
With Acetanium, LINDBERG has combined
the best features of acetate and titanium to make a light, aesthetic and, above all, comfortable frame which is bound to set
a new standard for minimalist design.
